    I believe it depends on what state your in, as I am here in Texas, but I think the TABC certification and of course the knowledge it conveys will school you on everything you need to know. As long as you have that unexpired certification with you when you’re serving, then you should be fine. Carding, or asking for proper identification when unsure about age, cutting people off scenarios etc. are all outlined in the exam and it’s very, very easy to follow alon, retain and put to immediate use for your Bar/Catering business!!! I even thought of doing that myself, but only had a couple of people I could trust in working along side me. I have been in the hospitality industry for over 10years and just did a recent freelance contract as an Event Assistant/On-Call Bartender for an event center where I’m from. Nothing but pure “paid schooling & knowledge absorbed and ready to apply if help is needed! I can travel!
