Non profit grants are an entirely different thing from regular minority business grants. Lots of funders won’t give grants to non-profits. Not sure why.
However, there are LOTS of grants for you. Please check out http://www.grants.gov for all of the federal government grant programs. There is an astonishing amount of money there but writing those grant applications is a giant pain in the rear.
