Business Description

Women of Worth, Inc. (WOW) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2017 in Huntsville, Texas. The program’s initial primary purpose was to help individuals in Walker County improve their literacy skills and obtain their GED or other educational certification.

Initially, as a Pearson VUE authorized test center, WOW’s objective was to leverage our resources by making computers and digital programs available to support literacy education. In addition to the GED test, Women of Worth is also currently approved to offer Pearson Vue’s full suite of IT certification exams, enabling the organization to offer more opportunities for both men and women to pursue their educational and professional goals. Additionally, WOW provides the following services not directly related to testing in a continued effort to truly become a community resource center: open computer labs on non-testing days, a public notary, and a variety of life skills classes.
