Founder's Story

True Aura Collective began with a realization: I had spent years helping other people move forward, but I had never fully considered building something of my own around the skills and experiences I had gained along the way.

My journey did not begin with a perfect business plan or a large amount of startup capital. It began with skills I already had. I have been tutoring students for years, helping them understand subjects that once made them feel defeated and watching their confidence change when something finally clicked. Professionally, my background in Human Resources gave me experience helping people navigate resumes, employment opportunities, onboarding, compliance, and the workplace. Over time, I realized there was a common thread in everything I enjoyed doing: helping people get closer to where they wanted to be.

That realization became True Aura Collective.

True Aura Collective is a woman-owned small business created to provide practical services, resources, and guidance that help individuals and families move closer to their personal, educational, and professional goals. Built on the belief that the right support can change someone’s trajectory, True Aura Collective brings multiple complementary services together under one trusted brand. Our growing services include K–12 tutoring, college readiness, resume and career support, and educational and professional digital resources.

Through our education services, True Aura Collective provides personalized tutoring for K–12 students, with additional support available for introductory college-level math. We also help high school students prepare for life after graduation through college and career exploration, college searches and applications, essay support, scholarship research, and ACT/SAT preparation. Our approach goes beyond completing assignments or improving grades; we aim to build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and help students and families better understand the opportunities available to them.

True Aura Collective also provides career-focused services informed by the founder’s professional Human Resources experience. These services include resume assistance, career resources, and digital tools designed to help job seekers better communicate their experience and navigate the employment process. By making professional knowledge easier to understand and access, we aim to help individuals feel more prepared and confident when pursuing new opportunities.

As the company grows, True Aura Collective plans to expand its professional service offerings to include mobile drug and alcohol testing, DNA specimen collection, background screening, and notary services. This expansion is designed to create convenient solutions for individuals and businesses while responding to the needs of the local workforce and surrounding communities.

The “Collective” in True Aura Collective represents our long-term vision: building a company that is not limited to solving one problem. Whether a student needs academic support, a high school senior needs help planning for college, a job seeker needs assistance preparing for their next opportunity, or a business needs access to professional services, True Aura Collective is being built as a resource people can turn to for their next step.
