Founder's Story
I work a full-time job Monday to Friday, but I had been trying to find a way to earn more, as I am the main breadwinner in the family. So, I thought about something that I do really well, and that would be organizing and cleaning, and the idea was born!! My adult daughter threw the name at me and voila!

About tismbuddy™
Hi, I’m the person behind tismbuddy™. I created this autistic-led online support service for neurodivergent adults who feel overwhelmed by tidying, cleaning, organizing, or simply getting started with everyday home/other tasks.
When you book a Tidy Together Session, you meet with me one-to-one online. I offer a calm, kind, judgment-free space where we can work with what is actually possible for you that day—not what anyone else thinks you “should” be able to do. You do not need to tidy before we meet, apologize for your space, explain how it became difficult, or commit to a huge transformation. We can start exactly where you are.
I know that a task that looks small to someone else can feel enormous when there are executive-function challenges, low energy, sensory overwhelm, decision fatigue, shame, or simply too many things competing for your attention. Together, we can choose one manageable starting point, such as gathering dishes, beginning a laundry load, filling one rubbish bag, clearing a small surface, or making a gentle plan for later. I will help you break the task into smaller steps, reduce some of the decisions involved, and stay alongside you while you work at your own pace.
More Than Body Doubling
tismbuddy™ includes the helpful presence and gentle accountability that people often look for in body doubling, but I offer more active, personalized support than simply being on a call while you work alone.
With body doubling, another person is usually present—online or in person—while you do your own task. Their presence can make it easier to focus, begin, or continue, but they may not be involved in deciding what to do next. In a tismbuddy™ session, I am there with you to help when the task feels unclear, too big, or impossible to begin.
For example, instead of starting with “I need to clean my kitchen,” you can tell me that the kitchen feels overwhelming. I can help you decide what would make the next 10 minutes easier. We might choose one small task, such as gathering dishes, putting rubbish into a bag, or clearing one section of the counter. We can decide what “done enough” looks like, pause if you become overwhelmed, and choose a realistic next step together.
You are always in control of your home, belongings, and decisions. I will not tell you what you must throw away, push you past your capacity, or expect a perfect result. My role is to be a supportive person in your corner: someone who understands that getting started can be the hardest part, and who can help you make progress in a way that feels manageable.
tismbuddy™ is non-clinical and is not therapy, professional organizing, professional cleaning, diagnosis, medical advice, or crisis support. It is practical, autistic-led, one-to-one support for neurodivergent adults who want more guidance than silent co-working while tackling everyday home tasks remotely.
