Business Description

TheBarnQuilter is a site to learn and take lessons about this art form.

Barn Quilts have been an art since the early 50’s and they are meant to be displayed on barns (obviously), fences, doors and mantels.

I give lessons throughout southern Illinois, wherever I can schedule a big room and a bunch of people.  There are hundreds of photos from classes on my website, www.TheBarnQuilter.net

Custom work is also part of my business.  Panels up to 10 ft square are painted on durable aluminum and have a life expectancy in excess of 50 years.

Many of the custom work that I do has been submitted by people who just have an idea and need s design created.
