The Village Center for Culture and Character, Inc. (TV3C) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underserved youth through transformative travel, cultural exchange, and character-building experiences. Founded with the belief that every young person, regardless of socio-economic background, deserves access to global opportunities, TV3C provides educational journeys that broaden horizons, foster leadership, and nurture a sense of responsibility. Through immersive experiences, we aim to connect youth with the world beyond their immediate environments, helping them develop a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and global history, especially the link between African American heritage and Africa.

TV3C serves young people, primarily between the ages of 6 and 18, from communities facing significant socio-economic barriers. These youth often come from neighborhoods impacted by systemic issues like gun violence, teenage pregnancy, and gang affiliation. By offering enriching, hands-on learning experiences, TV3C empowers youth to see beyond their circumstances, building the skills and confidence needed to become conscientious global citizens and future leaders. Through our programming, we inspire and equip youth to engage with their communities in meaningful ways, helping to create a more informed, compassionate, and culturally aware generation.
