Business Description

She-EO is a transformative, community-driven organization dedicated to empowering women of African descent. Established in 2017, She-EO provides a safe and supportive platform for African women to engage in meaningful conversations, share experiences, and gain essential skills that lead to personal growth, career advancement, and community impact. Our mission is to uplift, educate, and equip women with the resources they need to overcome societal and professional barriers, enabling them to thrive as leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers.

Through a range of programs—including mentorship, training sessions, and Sister Circle gatherings—She-EO fosters an environment where women can connect with like-minded individuals, exchange valuable insights, and receive guidance from accomplished mentors across various fields. Our annual Cohort Mentorship Program, launched in 2024, is a tailored initiative designed to support young African women in sectors like Food Security, Agriculture, and Alternative Energy. In 2025, we are taking it a step higher, with each participant gaining access to experienced mentors who will act as “Board of Directors” for their businesses, offering strategic advice and support for three months.

Beyond mentorship, She-EO hosts workshops, events, and retreats that emphasize leadership, resilience, and professional development, including our celebrated annual retreat.

She-EO’s goal is to create a ripple effect of empowerment that not only uplifts individual women but also positively transforms communities. Through our impactful programs, we’re building a network of strong, purpose-driven women poised to make a lasting difference.
