About Us

The Mother Hive LLC was founded by Genessa Zickefoose (she/her) in 2020. Since 2012, Genessa has completed extensive training in the healing arts, including yoga, herbalism, priestess traditions, earth medicine & shamanic energy healing. Her formal herbal studies include Foraging & Herbal Medicine Making with Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine and Herbal Medicine for Women with Dr. Aviva Romm, M.D.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower people to approach wellness though a holistic lens. We support their physical, emotional, mental & spiritual well-being through herbal education, coaching support, and community building events.

In Person & Virtual

We use a HIPAA-compliant practice management system to support you with online scheduling, virtual appointments, electronic forms, appointment reminders, secure messaging, supplement company integrations, and more!

Appointments are held virtually or in person at our Amston, Connecticut office.

Clinical Herbalist

We support people with their wellness goals by providing herbal education. We recommend herbs & supplements, as well as nutrition & lifestyle changes. We partner with herbal product companies to fill our custom formulated herbal extracts and teas. Many of our partners also offer client accounts with online fulfillment, direct shipping and even refills.
