Founder's Story
Texas Police Trainers LLC was founded from a simple but deeply held belief: every law-enforcement professional deserves access to high-quality training, regardless of where they serve or the size of their agency’s budget.
As a veteran, public-safety instructor, and entrepreneur, I have always believed that service is more than a profession—it is a responsibility. Throughout my career, I saw firsthand how training could strengthen an officer’s confidence, improve decision-making, protect communities, and even save lives. I also recognized that access to professional development was not equal across Texas.
While larger agencies often had the funding and staffing needed to host specialized courses or send personnel across the state, many smaller, rural, and underfunded agencies faced significant barriers. Limited budgets, staffing shortages, travel expenses, and a lack of nearby training opportunities often made it difficult for their employees to receive the education they needed.
Business Description
Yet the professionals serving those communities face the same mental-health crises, cybercrime investigations, leadership challenges, legal responsibilities, and rapidly changing public-safety demands as those working in larger cities.
I founded Texas Police Trainers LLC to help close that gap.
What began as a commitment to expand access to training has grown into a statewide professional-education network connecting law-enforcement agencies, instructors, training providers, and public-safety professionals throughout Texas. By partnering with host agencies, working with experienced contract instructors, and offering affordable in-person and online learning opportunities, we bring training closer to the people who need it.
Our work is not simply about filling classrooms or issuing certificates. It is about helping law-enforcement professionals return to their agencies better prepared to lead, communicate, investigate, respond to crises, and serve their communities with integrity.
Every course we facilitate represents an opportunity to make an impact. A better-trained officer can make a better decision. A better-trained supervisor can build a stronger team. A better-trained telecommunicator can provide calm during a crisis. A better-trained public-safety professional can strengthen trust between an agency and the community it serves.
Today, Texas Police Trainers continues to grow, innovate, and expand its reach across the state. We are embracing new technology, developing relevant courses, supporting instructors, and creating additional pathways for agencies that have historically had limited access to professional development.
The mission remains the same as it was when I started: to make high-quality law-enforcement training more accessible, affordable, and available across Texas.
Texas Police Trainers is more than a business. It is the continuation of my commitment to service—and a promise that an agency’s budget, location, or ZIP code should never determine the quality of training its professionals receive.
When law-enforcement professionals are better trained, agencies become stronger, communities become safer, and public trust grows. That is the impact we work to create, one course, one professional, and one community at a time.
