Business Description

If you are a nonprofit or a business with a well-defined social impact model, I look forward to helping you access the funding you need to grow and sustain your mission. I established this grant writing and strategy service to support small to medium-sized Black-led nonprofits, community organizations, and mission-driven businesses serving communities of color—through grant readiness, strategic funding plans, and strong, data-backed proposals.

With a strong commitment to equity and capacity-building, I meet organizations where they are—whether they’re just getting started with grants or ready to scale their funding strategies. My services include full grant packages, readiness assessments, research and prospecting, strategy sessions, and long-term retainer partnerships for organizations seeking to deepen their impact and approach larger-scale funding opportunities, including grants in the $50K–$500K+ range.

While I work independently, my approach is collaborative, transparent, and grounded in values of justice, clarity, and community. I don’t just write grants—I also teach teams how to build internal systems, strengthen their programs, and tell their story in a way funders will understand and support. Through one-on-one strategy (4-day intensive), a 12-week Grant Readiness Accelerator, and free educational content via my Substack publication The Grant Strategist, I’m building custom tools and providing bite-sized guidance designed to build both programmatic and financial capacity within your organization.

I also facilitate a small-but-mighty learning environment through The Grant Strategist (on Substack), where I share free tools, funder insights, grants, podcast episodes, and strategy insights. I personally underscore every nonprofit’s mission to “be the change you want to see” and am purposefully poised to support the expansion of your impact and service.
