Founder's Story

As a physician, I witnessed too many patients delaying care because of long wait times, fragmented healthcare, and limited access to preventive services. I knew there had to be a better way. That inspired me to leave the security of a successful medical career and build Summit Healthcare Center, an independent, physician-led practice focused on accessible, comprehensive, relationship-centered care. Starting from the ground up required significant personal sacrifice, financial risk, and resilience, but every challenge strengthened my commitment to the community I serve. Today, Summit has cared for more than 1200 patients, providing primary care, urgent care, pediatrics, women's health, weight management, wellness, and medical aesthetics in one convenient location. My vision extends beyond one clinic. I am building a healthcare organization that improves access to quality care, creates local jobs, and helps healthier families and communities thrive across Georgia.

Summit Healthcare Center is an independent, physician-owned healthcare practice in Roswell, Georgia, providing comprehensive, patient-centered medical care for individuals and families of all ages. Founded by Dr. Ugochi Gucci Ezeala, MD, MPH, our mission is to make high-quality healthcare more accessible by delivering personalized, relationship-centered care in a welcoming environment. We offer a full range of services, including primary care, urgent care, pediatrics, women’s health, preventive medicine, chronic disease management, weight management, wellness services, medical aesthetics, physicals, laboratory testing, immunizations, and minor office procedures. By providing these services under one roof, we simplify the healthcare experience and help patients receive timely, coordinated care throughout every stage of life.
