You may be coping with life transitions, anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, situational or generational trauma, and/or the effects of racism and prejudice. As a queer black person, I strive to affirm members of the LGBTQI+ community and am honored to work with all people of color.
Every individual is innately created with the abilities needed to overcome every burden or roadblock that may emerge throughout one’s lifetime. I partner with you to identify, express, and honor the strength that lies within. There is power in telling your story and creating a new path forward. You hold the answers and I support you in unearthing them.
I offer individual therapy for adults. I work through a culturally responsive and social justice orientated lens with an awareness of issues related to class, race and gender. I am an extremely relational therapist. I utilize aspects of mindfulness, CBT, Spirituality and EMDR to support you on your journey. I am honored to work in close collaboration with individuals who are survivors of traumatic experiences, individuals who have experienced a loss or separation from a loved one, and those who need support navigating through phase of life transitions. Additionally, I enjoy working with adults on the Autism Spectrum.
