Founder's Story

In a heartbreaking event for our family, my 35 year old nephew passed away, leaving my sister without her only child. I wished I could help her in her unbearable grief. If she had a video of her son just telling a story - hearing his voice, seeing his smile, hearing his laugh, seeing his face... I can only imagine how much that would have meant to her. I don't want other people to not have someone's smile that they love not available to them. Spoken Legacy is an opportunity to share with your loved ones when you cannot anymore. We are virtual, so your conversation happens wherever you want on your computer or phone in the place where you are most comfortable. Our trained interviewers are here to relax and guide you. We also hold your archive in a high digital secure vault to be released to only whomever you choose through an unlisted link when you want them to have it. Our mission is to bring an opportunity to everyone to record their presence and legacy.

Spoken Legacy is a professional storytelling and legacy‑preservation service that helps individuals, couples, and families capture their stories, voices, and presence through guided, high‑quality video and audio recordings. We create intentional, emotionally safe spaces where people can reflect on their lives, relationships, and milestones—resulting in beautifully crafted keepsakes that can be shared for generations.

Our core offerings include Legacy Sessions, where clients record meaningful reflections, family history, personal messages, and wisdom in a calm, guided format. These recordings become cherished heirlooms that preserve not just memories, but tone, expression, and presence.

Our Life Story Gift is a beautiful place to preserve memories for life events – graduations, the birth of children, coming-of-age celebrations, purchasing your first home. There is nothing like preserving the feelings in the moment and then being able to look back on them years later without time and life distorting them.

We also offer a Wedding Legacy experience, giving couples the opportunity to document their love story, vows, and shared intentions at the beginning of their marriage. This is NOT a wedding video.   This is a complement to the wedding experience and in some ways, becomes more important to reflect on.  This becomes their first family heirloom—something they can revisit during anniversaries or challenging seasons to reconnect with the foundation of their relationship.
