Sage Pathways, Inc. is a nonprofit organization located in Fontana, California. We are committed to empowering Black scholars by providing them with comprehensive support aimed at fostering both academic and personal excellence. Our mission centers on creating a nurturing environment that equips scholars with the tools and resources to thrive academically and socially through their k-12 experience and beyond.

To achieve this, Sage Pathways, Inc. offers a diverse range of services tailored specifically to meet the unique needs of our scholars. This includes individualized tutoring and mentorship programs that occur virtually twice a week. These sessions are focused on English Language Arts and Mathematics. They are designed to deliver personalized support and guidance, enabling scholars to address their specific academic challenges. Our dedicated tutors and mentors work closely with our scholars to build their confidence and skills, helping them unlock their full potential.

In addition to tutoring and mentoring, Sage Pathways, Inc. is deeply committed to advocacy and support services that address the broader needs of scholars, as Gail O’Connor’s article “The School-Supply Gap” for Teach For America, dated September 8, 2019, highlights, scholars who do not have the necessary supplies for school are impacted in ways that cause social and emotional challenges that lead to higher absenteeism rates. In response, we strive to alleviate these barriers by providing essential supplies such as computers, backpacks, and various school supplies.
