Founder's Story

Roxy Wuz Here Art was founded by Houston-based multidisciplinary artist and curator Rickale “Roxy” West from a belief that art can inspire healing, connection and transformation.

With a B.A. in Psychology from Texas Southern University, Rickale combines her passion for creativity and mental wellness to create vibrant mixed-media artwork and meaningful experiences. In 2020, she turned her artistic practice into a business, growing from creating personal work to offering original art, Healing Through Art workshops, public art activations and curation services.

Today, Roxy Wuz Here Art continues to create spaces where art and wellness intersect, encouraging people to reflect, connect and heal.
