Founder's Story
Hi, I'm Carma, Founder of RetreatLoop.
RetreatLoop started with the belief that the most meaningful travel experiences often come through people, not search engines. After years of traveling, attending retreats and connecting with incredible practitioners, hosts and local communities around the world, I saw how difficult it could be to find these experiences unless you happened to know the right person.
I created RetreatLoop to change that. The vision is to build a global community where travelers can discover meaningful retreats and experiences through trusted human connections, while giving retreat hosts, practitioners and independent retreat spaces a place to be discovered and grow.
The name RetreatLoop represents that connection: one traveler discovers an experience, meets a practitioner, finds a retreat space or shares a recommendation, and the loop continues.
Business Description
RetreatLoop is a global travel and wellness marketplace connecting travelers with retreats, transformational travel experiences, wellness practitioners, retreat hosts and retreat centers around the world.
Rather than operating as just another retreat directory, RetreatLoop is being built around human connection and discovery. Travelers can explore retreats and experiences, find practitioners, discover retreat spaces and connect with the people behind them. RetreatLoop’s ambassador community helps uncover and recommend experiences and places through firsthand knowledge and trusted local connections.
RetreatLoop is free to join for travelers and practitioners, making it easier for independent wellness professionals and retreat businesses to gain visibility alongside established hosts and destinations. The platform includes yoga and wellness retreats, cultural and adventure experiences, personal growth experiences, corporate retreats and other forms of meaningful travel.
At its heart, RetreatLoop is about creating connections between people who might otherwise never find one another — travelers, practitioners, hosts and places — and keeping those connections moving around the world.
