Founder's Story
During a month-long trip to Ghana in 2021, I met several US expats that were struggling through the relocation process. They all had the same struggle. They wished they had help navigating the relocation process. I saw an opportunity that would assist other US expats have a more positive experience. This is what created the idea for Our Last Exodus. After returning home, I started the process of creating a network of professionals and locals that would be able to assist in the relocation process for other expats relocate to the Continent.

Our Last Exodus exists to empower African Americans with the resources, housing, and community support needed to confidently and successfully relocate to Africa, reconnecting with their ancestral heritage and establishing a thriving life abroad. We offer a comprehensive suite of services designed to support individuals and families relocating from the United States to Africa. At the core of our offerings, we offer personalized relocation consulting that covers essential areas such as visa applications, banking setup, local registration, and more. To ensure a smooth cultural transition, we provide orientation programs and facilitate connections with local communities. In addition, we connect individuals with access to agents for short-term lease housing in key destination countries including Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa, providing clients with a safe and comfortable starting point upon arrival. We also partner with trusted service providers—including schools, transportation services, and healthcare professionals—to assist clients in building a stable and fulfilling life abroad. Each service is designed to reduce the complexity of international relocation and provide a supportive, informed pathway to resettlement in Africa.
