OnPoint Institute for Nursing Aide Training and Community Education is a community based nonprofit educational institution dedicated to provided quality training and job placement service. We believe that everyone should have the same opportunity to receive an education. For that reason, we pay special attention to those individuals who are financially underprivileged. We will not turn anyone away who cannot pay their tuition without first exhausting every resource.

I am an RN and have been a nurse for over 35 years. I literally love nursing and helping people regain their health. However, all my years of nursing I have never experience such a nursing shortage as there is today. I started OnPoint Institute to help bridge the gap related to the nurse shortage. Skilled nursing facilities are presently using certified nursing aides (CNA) to assist nurses pass medications. But the CNAs must be trained to become a Certified Medication Assistant (CMA). OnPoint Institute’s main goal is to train CMA and place them in nursing facilities thus assisting with bridging the nursing shortage gap.

Classes we offer are as follows: certified nursing assistant, certified medication assistant, financial literacy, healthy living classes, how to buy a home, youth pickleball, and cardio tennis for 50-year-old plus. OnPoint Institute also offers a women’s support group (Women’s Chit Chat) that deals with issues that are unique only to women.
