NWON Opportunities LLC, (NWON) is a minority woman owned business started in 2018. We work with job seekers to prepare them for work and help to find sustainable wage employment offering career paths and leadership opportunities. NWON helps businesses build a better workforce for growth and expansion.  NWON provides industry training, recruitment, and job placement with an emphasis on emotional and personal wellness.  Our expertise and custom solutions assist job seekers to achieve their career goals and maximize their potential. NWON works with key growth industries. We provide 8 interactive work readiness workshops for all jobseekers using NWON’s Are You Ready? curriculum in a community job lab to offer access to more jobseekers. The workshops are designed to strengthen writing a marketable resume, behavioral interviewing and how to stay employed. We provide programs and resources for certifications and skills development for unemployed, underemployed and those transitioning to new careers.  NWON is unique and respected because we incorporate emotional wellness and support for every job seeker to reduce the transference of past employment and personal trauma.  This is niche service that employers appreciate since personal trauma often impacts professional performance. Our team remains connected to the jobseeker for one year after the start date providing retention support and direction on professional development.
