Background

Recently, I have been instrumental in creating a partnership with two colleagues to start a Latina-owned and operated No.11 Trolley Tour LLC. business in Las Vegas, New Mexico.

Our focus is to bring true historical, cultural, film and eco-tourism to our small town as well as to attract tourists from all over who want to visit a truly preserved historical city.

This endeavor is truly needed and will generate excitement and economic growth, both for us and to our city. We plan to open in the Summer of 2023 with a general tour twice a day, three (3) times a week.

Visitors are already calling and booking tours such as: churches, schools, locals and out-of-towners. We are online for merchandise and will be on-line for ticket sales.

We have a working Marketing/Advertising plan that includes other strategies and partnerships that will help build strong economic development for our enterprise as well as for our community.

Our small tour company has created such a stir, that it is going to have a dynamic impact on the town, not only economically but as an inspiration in re-igniting the LIFE back into this town that has suffered so much devastation from Covid, the historic wildfires, floods and personal losses.

Failure is not an option when we have so much to share. Our town, Las Vegas, New Mexico has a dynamic and untold historic role in our nation’s history including the likes of the first capital of the state (not Santa Fe), the Santa Fe Trail, Route 66, the notorious crossroads for the business of the cattlemen, ranchers, bankers and railroad bosses, Paula Angel the only woman in New Mexico to be hung twice, the Spanish “Journey of Death”, over 900 registered homes on the National Register, Glorietta Pass (the last stronghold against the South’s Confederate Army) etc. The list goes on and NEEDS to be told and this is what is waiting for No.11 Trolley Tours, LLC to tell.
