The team has built a reputation of publishing excellence in just a short time, performing their award-winning story in front of classrooms and audiences of all ages. “The Dreamlighters Go to Space” has earned four literary awards, in-fact, including being considered an international “Reader’s Favorite.” You will even find it being enjoyed by a Ghanaian orphanage on their website.

The company’s prominent stature in the self-publishing industry was led by their crowdfunding success through the Kickstarter platform in July 2023. In just two weeks, they were able to raise $5000, and ultimately completed the campaign $1200 over the goal, funding the delivery of over 150 signed books to children and libraries nationwide!

Throughout 2024, Mike Writes for Kids has been invited as guests and speakers at numerous events and schools, most notably speaking at the 2024 Women’s Conference held at the University of South Carolina.
