Founder's Story

I watched friends struggle with eating disorders growing up, fighting for their lives inside a broken system that failed them again and again: waitlists, insurance denials, discharge plans with a 70% relapse rate, and nothing built for the moment treatment ended and real life began. I watched social media make it worse, feeding the exact insecurities these friends were already drowning in. They deserved better. So does everyone like them. That gap became my life's mission, and I will not stop until it's closed. This is personal. I've spent the last two years building the thing that didn't exist when they needed it most, so the next person has it the moment they need it.

Mirror is an AI-powered, clinically guided eating disorder recovery platform that gives someone in recovery a daily companion between appointments: 24/7 coping tools, peer support, and clinical connection they can reach for anytime, not just during a scheduled session.

Over 80% of people with eating disorders never receive treatment. 3.3 million die from them every year, worldwide. Families are often told to pay thousands a month for care, and many go into debt or give up. That’s the gap Miirror closes.
