Founder's Story
Our journey into business wasn't perfect, but it was real. After his business partner served 15 years in the Marine Corps and was fired from three jobs, he realized he was meant to build something of his own rather than help build someone else's dream. Meanwhile, I was working in corporate America for 30+ years, and I knew it was time for me to do something different. That time came when I got laid off.
We stepped into real estate over 16 years ago with a vision, determination, and a passion for helping people understand how money and real estate really work. What started as an idea turned into KinShip Properties, a business focused on creating opportunities, solving problems, and helping families and investors build wealth through real estate.
We built this business through hard work, faith, strategy, and perseverance. Today, we help people at home, create passive income, educate, and think differently about financial freedom.
Business Description
KinShip Properties is an education-based real estate company headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, dedicated to expanding equitable access to homeownership and wealth-building opportunities. Our mission is to bridge the knowledge and access gap that prevents underserved individuals and families from participating in real estate ownership and investment.
We operate at the intersection of real estate, financial education, and community development. Through structured training, mentorship, and hands-on support, we equip individuals with the tools to purchase homes, build passive income streams, and create generational wealth. Our approach goes beyond transactions. We focus on transformation.
Memphis represents both a challenge and an opportunity. While it remains one of the most affordable housing markets in the United States, many residents lack access to the financial literacy, credit positioning, and strategic guidance needed to take advantage of these opportunities.
