Business Description

Kinky Kurls is owned and operated by Guyanese native Tanacia Blackwell. I’ve had this business since Spring 2014 and haven’t looked back since. I specialize in Microlocks, Sisterlocks, and Traditional Locs. I obtained my certification in Sisterlocks and Microlocks in 2021 and have established over 30 new Loc journeys. I enjoy what I do and would love to expand my business even more to better assist my community.

I am currently located in Loganville and moved my business to this area in Fall 2024. Since then, my business has grown even more and more assistance is needed. Being able to offer an opportunity to at least 3 other experienced Locticians would help to better my business and the skills of those I plan to mentor.  Being able to establish someones locs is a feeling not too many people get to experience. As I am the go to person for everything locs, seeing the smiles on my clients faces never get old.
