Business Description
Business Name:
The Judah Brown Project
Business Type:
501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization
About Us:
The Judah Brown Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving little lives by ending childhood drowning. We work to prevent drowning deaths by providing water safety education, survival swim scholarships, and CPR training for parents, caregivers, and children—especially those in low-income and minority communities who face the highest risks.
What We Do:
- Survival Swim Scholarships – Ensuring that children have access to life-saving swim training.
- Water Safety Education – Partnering with schools, Head Start programs, and community centers to teach drowning prevention.
- CPR & First Aid Training – Empowering parents and caregivers with emergency response skills.
- Community Outreach & Awareness – Hosting events, training sessions, and public campaigns to spread critical water safety knowledge.
Our Mission:
To prevent childhood drownings by providing families with the resources, education, and skills necessary to keep their children safe in and around water. Drowning is the leading cause of death in children under the ages of 5 and with our hard work and dedication, we hope to see this statistic change!
Location & Service Area:
Headquartered in Texas, serving Houston, Katy, and surrounding areas, with outreach efforts expanding nationwide.
Get Involved:
Whether through donations, sponsorships, or volunteering, every contribution helps us move closer to a world where no child’s life is lost to drowning.
