Founder's Story
Our Founder: Eric Hunt, Chicago native, battles with this disease daily and was diagnosed in 2010.
It has been his desire to be an asset to those whom he can relate to and share common realities.
Hunt NF1 Foundation was established in Chicago, IL in 2024 and desires to have an immense
impact internationally. Our founder has dedicated his time and talent in hopes to aid those who are
in need of counseling/therapy and support with procuring medications. Though he has many
challenges daily, he has a spiritual support system that enables him to pursue his passion and be a
conduit to this cause. Joining him in the ring as he fights to make an impact in the lives of many
that are suffering would be his lifelong dream come true. Join the movement!
Business Description
The Hunt NF1 Foundation is dedicated to supporting individuals affected by
Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1) and Neurofibromatosis Type 2 (NF2) through research,
community outreach, and educational programs. We are seeking a grant of $150,000 to enhance
our operational capabilities, expand our outreach efforts, and provide direct financial support to
those impacted by these diseases
