Business Description

Hoochie Burger although a very interesting name is more than just a food truck it’s a culinary experience aimed at redefining fast food by offering fresh, made-to-order meals that prioritize quality and community connection. I came up with the name as I felt it would be an eye catcher and great marketing for potential customers. The name also pays homage to a very key time in television entertainment in the 90’s for African Americans.

Hoochie Burger serves the community by offering this clean menu at my city’s local weekly market. This allows me to connect directly with the community and cater to a broader audience, including families and individuals looking for fresh, wholesome meals on the go. In addition to classic comfort foods, I’ve curated healthy menu options designed to appeal to those with dietary preferences or restrictions.

What sets Hoochie Burger apart is its dual focus on quality food and giving back to the community. As a veteran and single mother of two daughters, I’ve built my business on the values of hard work, resilience, and service to others. My food truck also reflects my deep commitment to my local community. I dedicate specific days each month to serving free meals to the homeless, and I aim to offer cooking classes to teens interested in the culinary arts, helping to inspire the next generation of chefs.

I currently do all work from a food tent I made or I rent time at a local commercial kitchen. However I am working towards transitioning to a food trailer to become more mobile and available to the high demand I have been getting, as well as serve more of my community. I’ve expanded my services to include private chef bookings which I do business under Kae’s Kitchen Creations bringing my food to intimate gatherings and special events. These additional opportunities allow me to connect with my customers on a personal level, further building my brand.
