Founder's Story
At one time or another in our motherhood journey, we have both felt loneliness, helplessness, overwhelm, and exhaustion. On a daily basis, we both experience the wide range of emotions that occur with raising children.
When we first met we quickly realized that even though we were at different stages of motherhood, we faced many of the same struggles.
We both felt frustrated, lonely, overwhelmed, and exhausted. We immediately developed a strong bond and appreciated feeling understood by a fellow mom. In addition to motherhood, we had also connected over our previous careers in wellness, having served as personal trainers and health coaches. Through this past work, we had collectively spoken with hundreds of moms and recognized that the gap in care was a universal theme of the postpartum experience. We realized that countless women were navigating motherhood with an inadequate support system. We felt driven to do something.

HER+ Health Collective is a Raleigh, NC-rooted, inclusive community grounded in connection, collaboration, and care. We support moms – including women and gender-expansive individuals – by bringing together two powerful things: a welcoming community where you can truly belong, and a collaborative network of trusted women’s health experts.
Because when you feel supported and connected to affirming care, everyone thrives.
Our mom community is called HER+ Circle. It is a supportive, inclusive space where moms – including women and gender-expansive individuals – can show up exactly as they are. Through in-person and virtual events, shared conversations, and thoughtfully curated member experiences, HER+ Circle offers meaningful connection without pressure or judgment.
This is where friendships form, support systems grow, and you realize you don’t have to do this alone.
Our Provider Directory is a thoughtfully curated network of women-led and women-identifying health professionals who support moms and families. Every provider is vetted by the HER+ team and aligned with our values of holistic, inclusive, affirming, equity-centered care.
For moms, this means less overwhelm and more confidence when seeking support.
For providers, it creates opportunities for meaningful connection, collaboration, and long-term relationship-building—not just listings.
HER Health Collective’s overriding mission is to improve the care mothers receive by providing a supportive community and offering access to trusted resources.
We know women are being underserved in the current system. We believe that creating an open conversation amongst experts and healthcare professionals will move the needle forward and start creating the necessary changes to provide women with the care they need and deserve.
