Founder's Story
For twelve years, I worked as a software engineer in the oil and gas industry before stepping away in 2020 to care for my growing family. During that time, I created a 42-day wellness challenge to help people build healthier habits through accountability and community.
Over six years, the same participants returned challenge after challenge, transforming their health and supporting one another. I realized I had validated a powerful model for lasting behavior change.
Using my engineering background, I designed, developed, and launched Habit42—a technology platform that transforms that proven community program into a scalable business. Today, Habit42 is a Houston-based company with a live product, paying customers, an established host partnership, and its first paid cohort launching in August 2026.
What began as a small community effort has become a company built to help people and communities create healthier, lasting habits.

Habit42 is an accountability platform that helps people build lasting healthy habits through structured, 42-day group challenges. Founded in Houston, Texas, Habit42 gives participants the tools, accountability, and community support needed to achieve their goals. Participants join a cohort, track daily habits, complete weekly weigh-ins, and compete on a live leaderboard for prizes—all within a supportive environment designed to keep them engaged and motivated. Each challenge also includes mid-week sessions led by certified fitness trainers, providing expert guidance and encouragement throughout the journey.
The platform combines habit tracking, weight-loss challenges, community accountability, and real incentives into one simple experience accessible on web and mobile.
