Founder's Story

When I was 19, I had a transformative, defining moment of mindfulness—a sudden awakening experience. That day I was:

1) Fully immersed in the present moment,
2) Neutral while observing myself and others with kindness, and
3) Connected to my identity as part of a collective whole of humanity.

One year later, I took my first yoga class, reconnecting to that experience in a smaller, yet consistent way. I knew yoga was my dharma, my path.

However, I didn’t see a way to make yoga a sustainable career, so I pursued engineering. As a technical writer and instructional designer, I supported product rollouts, working closely with product development, marketing, sales, and technical support teams.

Even while I was making my living in tech, yoga remained central to my life. In graduate school, I found my purpose in coaching wellness professionals to develop unique voices and sustainable businesses.
