Founder's Story

Hi! I'm Shanell, founder and CEO of FreshCare Vending LLC.

I started this business as a solution to issues with hygiene being inaccessible when I am out and about.

When I go to public restrooms, there is never a dispensary for feminine products anymore. When I go to weddings, there is almost always a clothing mishap. When I travel via public transportation or out with friends there aren't many hygiene and personal care stationary items on-site.
I thought about where the future of vending machines is headed and thought, I can be the one who provides the solution to all of these things. Surely I am not the only one who notices the lack of amenities when it comes to public health, especially after COVID.

So, I started honing in on FreshCare Vending. I launched in January of 2026 and have one machine successfully placed as of August 2026.
Not only do we put women's sanitary health at the top of our priority list, but all public hygiene health and personal care thoughtfulness.

Located in Chicago’s South Suburbs, FreshCare Vending is a local automated retail and digital concierge that provides hygiene solutions in the form of quick and accessible units. We place them next to restrooms, common or locker rooms, and commute lobbies.

We supply your business with thoughtfully selected guest amenities and essential emergency items. Unlike traditional food-and-drink machines, we specialize in health, hygiene, and wellness products to meet a wide range of needs and unexpected situations. Items such as emergency feminine care, hand sanitizers, deodorants, and protective/disposable masks serve a wide range of consumers and guests, and allows them to stay comfortable knowing a FreshCare machine is down the hall ready for any unexpected mishap.
