Founder's Story
My start is pretty organic. I was helping a friend start his seasonings and rubs business. I helped create his website, labels, file his LLC paperwork and get his PayPal setup. While working on his project I decided to put some of his BBQ seasonings on some cashews and roast them. I couldn't believe how good they came out. I began making them for friends. After getting feedback I decided to launch Flava Nutz in 2025. I started researching ingredients because i wanted my cashews to be as healthy as possible. I looked for non GMO, natural and organic ingredients. By using less salt I have been able to keep the sodium low. I created my logo, designed my packaging and nutrition panels, launched my website.
Business Description
Flava Nutz is a healthy snack company. We sell flavored cashews. Our current product line includes lemon pepper cashews, maple cinnamon cashews and honey roasted cashews. We have plans to expand the number of flavors and to also include other nuts such as peanuts, pistachios, pumpkin seed and sunflower seeds. We strive to make sure our ingredients are natural, low sodium and non GMO. We use single ingredient spices and raw cashews. No additive and no preservatives. Small batch roasting ensures a constant flavor.
