Business Description

Clarmay’s House, LLC is my self-care and healing journey manifesting.  I moved to the DMV area in 2022 at the request of my husband and was separated in 2023.  I knew that there was (is) a lesson that I needed to learn from the dissolution of my marriage and something to unpack in the immense sense of fear and confusion I was experiencing.  I needed to recalibrate and figure out who I would be moving forward.  I was compelled to register Clarmay’s House, LLC while staying at a hotel to avoid interaction with my soon to be ex-husband.  The atmosphere at home was unhealthy, so I leaned into my faith, just as my mother had taught me.

My mother’s name was Clara May and my father fondly called her Clarmay.  I named the company Clarmay’s House because my mommy was home for me, and I needed the safety, love, reassurance, and wisdom that came with being at home; my mother taught my siblings and I to pray and take refuge in God, so I leaned in and created a company specializing in Christian-themed drinkware and novelty items designed to uplift and nourish the soul.  The designs are all unique inspired from specific scriptures and from my journaling and studying of the word. In engaging in selfcare and healing, I produced inspiration that I hope will bring to others a sense of comfort on their respective healing journeys.
