Founder's Story

I didn’t stumble into this business,I built it out of a pattern I kept seeing and couldn’t ignore.

After over a decade working as an accountant across different industries, I noticed the same problem over and over: small business owners, especially in service industries, were working hard, generating revenue, but still struggling financially. Not because they weren’t capable, but because they didn’t have the financial structure to support growth. They had numbers, but no clarity. Revenue, but no real profit strategy.

That’s where the idea for Books and Business Solutions came from.

I didn’t want to be just another bookkeeper or tax preparer. I wanted to build something that actually changed outcomes. So I started by offering bookkeeping and tax services but very quickly, I positioned the business differently. Not as a compliance service, but as a profit and tax strategy partner.
I focused on helping home service businesses and contractors, HVAC, plumbing, electrical.

Books and Business Solutions is a financial consulting firm that helps small businesses, especially home service companies and contractors, build profitable, scalable operations through better financial systems. We provide bookkeeping, tax preparation, and proactive tax planning, but our core focus goes beyond compliance. We help business owners understand their numbers, identify profit leaks, and implement strategies that increase cash flow and reduce tax liability legally and efficiently.

Our firm also offers fractional CFO services for growing businesses that need higher-level financial guidance without hiring a full-time executive. Through our proprietary Business Financial Infrastructure System™, we bring structure to how businesses manage revenue, expenses, pricing, and profitability. In addition to client services, we provide financial education and training to entrepreneurs and aspiring tax professionals, equipping them with the tools to make smarter financial decisions and build sustainable, wealth-generating businesses.
