At Because of Brucey, we believe in the power of education and inclusivity. Our 501(c)(3) charity is expanding its mission to not only rescue and nurture vulnerable animals but also to inspire and educate the next generation of animal welfare advocates. We’re excited to introduce our new youth education and special needs programs!

Youth Education Programs

We offer a variety of engaging programs designed to foster compassion and create awareness about animal welfare:

Kitten Care 101: Learn the essentials of caring for neonatal kittens
Animal Advocacy Workshop: Explore ways to strengthen animal protection laws
Summer Animal Career Camp: A class for teens interested in animal-related careers
-Virtual Learning Sessions: Interactive online classes featuring special animal guests

Special Needs Youth Programs

We’re committed to making animal welfare accessible to all:

Paws for Ability: A customized program helping children with disabilities interact with and care for animals
P.A.W.S. (People Achieving With Support): Providing valuable life and job skills through animal care activities

Volunteer Opportunities

We welcome youth and special needs volunteers to join our mission:

– Create treats for our rescued cats and kittens
