Business Description

Artwork for the Soul is positive affirmative art that I bring to life! My work brings feelings to the surface by representing emotions and everyday situations, but the style fluctuates depending on each project, some pieces are representational, and others abstract. I look to share inspired ideas and make connections with others through art.

The goal is to connect with others through art classes by sharing the transformative power of art through creative expression, and have individuals really enjoy creating while learning how art can be used to cultivate PMA (Positive Mental Attitude).

In the art classes we discuss what art means to you, and how PMA is something that can be attained through art using different mediums to create. We use everything from acrylic art, metallic color markers, and acrylic markers to items such as seashells, colored beads, feathers, and other articles to create unique designs. After everyone has created their pieces, we discuss how they felt at the start of their creation, what they felt during the creation, and finally how they feel about their final piece. The whole purpose of the classes is to introduce art as another tool individuals can use to deal with the stresses of day-to-day life happenings.

Even if you just want to enjoy another hobby, creating could be that hobby, creating without judgement-you know-painting outside the lines!
