Business Description

We manufacture and produce Skitopel®, a product as unique as its’ name. Skitopel® (pronounced Skeetopel) is made with herbs grown and harvested by us. Skitopel® is 100% all-natural, deet free insect repellent sprays and candles.

After noticing that we never had to use any type of repellent while relaxing at home, we decided to do research to find out why. Once we knew it was the herbs, we were growing we decided we needed to do something so everyone else could enjoy the outdoors like we are able to without the use of chemicals. We knew whatever we decided to do had to be both unique and effective. We originally began with candles and then expanded to sprays.

Our unique formula incorporates the entire herb into each product making it stronger and more effective at repelling a wide variety of bugs including mosquitoes, gnats (all types), biting flies, sweat bees, chiggers, and ticks. We realize there are 5 main concerns when it comes to repellents, effectiveness, safety, scent, feel, and affordability. We have all of these covered. Our sprays have been tested and are proven to be 100% repellent even at 2+ hours. Skitopel® is safe for the entire family including toddlers and anyone with sensitive skin such as eczema and dermatitis. The sprays have soft, pleasant scents and are soft and gentle on the skin. All products are affordable for everyone.

Our candles can be used both indoors and outdoors. Indoors the herbs provide a sweet, relaxing for the entire home. Outdoors they keep the entire sitting area bug free. These candles bring variety to the market by providing scents other than citronella.

Our goal in making Skitopel® is to get people back outdoors. Too many people are spending the entire year inside because of the bugs and not wanting to resort to chemicals. The outdoors has a lot to offer as well as providing many health benefits and everyone should be able to do get out. We love hearing from customers who are doing just that because of our products.
