Founder's Story

The idea for my business came from seeing firsthand how broken access to care can be, especially in underserved areas of Louisiana. Over the years, I watched families desperately search for help while agencies struggled with staffing shortages and limited availability. One experience that stayed with me was seeing a client turned away for only needing a few hours of care each day because no staff were available to cover the shifts. That moment reinforced how badly more compassionate, dependable providers are needed. I decided to build a company focused not just on providing services, but on truly advocating for vulnerable populations and helping people remain safely at home.

Business Description

Anchor Home Care is a non-medical home care provider agency in south Louisiana. We provide assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, meal prep, personal hygiene, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and so much more. Our agency is dedicated to providing compassionate, reliable, and person-centered home care services to elderly individuals and people with disabilities throughout southeast Louisiana. We understand that many vulnerable individuals wish to remain safely and comfortable in their own homes while maintaining their independence and dignity. With extensive experience in the Medicaid and long-term care field, our mission is to bridge gaps in care by offering high-quality support services tailored to each client’s unique physical, emotional, and daily living needs. We are committed to improving quality of life while supporting families and caregivers through dependable, respectful, and professional care.

We believe that vulnerable populations deserve dignity, safety, and compassionate care in their own homes. I have spent years working around the Medicaid and home care system, and I’ve personally seen families struggle to find reliable support for aging parents and loved ones with disabilities. Too many people are left without services simply because there are not enough caregivers or providers willing to take difficult cases. I want to be part of changing that. My motivation comes from knowing this business can directly improve quality of life for people who are often overlooked.
