Founder's Story

I founded All Things Content in 2018 after leaving corporate sales and marketing with a belief that strong ideas need more than talent to succeed — they need structure, clarity, and a way of working people can actually follow.

What began as content and marketing support evolved as I kept seeing the same pattern: leaders had strong visions, teams were capable, and tools were in place, but the work still slowed down because the process underneath it was unclear.

Today, I help higher education, nonprofit, and mission-driven organizations clarify how work moves across teams, systems, stakeholders, and leadership priorities. My work has evolved from executing the work to advising leaders on the structure behind the work.

Business Description

All Things Content is a strategic consultancy that helps higher education, nonprofit, and mission-driven organizations create operational clarity across complex, cross-functional work.

Founded by Joanne Giles, All Things Content supports teams that are managing major initiatives, communications work, service delivery, internal operations, project volume, or organizational change without a clear workflow foundation. The work often sits at the intersection of people, process, systems, and leadership visibility.

All Things Content helps organizations understand how work currently moves: where requests enter, who owns what, how priorities are decided, where approvals slow down, where systems overlap, and what information leaders need in order to make better decisions. From there, the work becomes clearer, more documented, and easier for teams to carry forward.

Services include workflow and systems assessments, stakeholder discovery, current-state workflow mapping, business process development, intake and approval design, project management consulting, implementation planning, change adoption support, team training, leadership reporting, and strategic advisory support.

All Things Content has supported institutions and organizations including Hofstra University, Georgia State University, Abilene Christian University, Walsh College, and the Center for Puppetry Arts. Across each engagement, the focus remains the same: helping organizations move from operational overwhelm to documented workflows, clearer ownership, stronger visibility, and sustainable ways of working.

The company’s core belief is simple: before you fix the tool, fix the workflow.
