Founder's Story

My small business of creative collections and curiosities began in 2018 after taking a class on dung beetles and the role that they play in ecosystems. I went into the class feeling wary of insects, but left the class feeling deeply inspired by nature and wanted to find a way to honor the beauty of life cycles. In 2020 I launched my brand AESTHETE, which allowed me creative freedom to showcase my entomological art, photography, music, research, and more. I now have an art studio in the Santa Fe Arts District and am open for First and Third Friday's every month.

Business Description

AESTHETE is an independently owned and operated, small-business based in Denver, Colorado. Adrienne’s multi-disciplinary creative work spans entomology, photography, digital art and illustration, music, and more. Adrienne is inspired by dark naturalism and honoring life cycles. 

“Aesthete” is a late 19th century noun meaning “a person who has or affects to have a special appreciation of art and beauty.”
