105 Publishing was created to give authors a better publishing experience — one built on transparency, support, and real results.

When Jason started 105 Publishing, his initial intentions were to utilize the company to publish his own books. However, after seeing other authors go through terrible publishers as he did, the purpose of 105 shifted to helping fellow authors, making sure they didn’t have the same experience. In order to do this, he needed help from some trusted individuals. This not only included editors, illustrators, book cover designers, and other artists, but trusted business partners as well. Although Jason may be the founder, he couldn’t make it happen without help from his wife Patricia and friend Byron. Jason and Patricia were Parole Officers in Ohio together when they decided to quit their jobs and focus on 105 Publishing full time. They moved to Austin, TX and grew the company from there.

105 Publishing, LLC is a full-service, independent publishing company dedicated to helping authors bring their stories to life with professionalism, transparency, and creative partnership. Founded after our own negative experiences with traditional publishing, we built our company to give authors a better, more honest path to publishing—one where they retain 100% of their rights and royalties.

We provide a comprehensive range of services including developmental and copy editing, interior formatting, cover design, illustration coordination, ISBN and copyright registration, and full distribution setup through major platforms like Amazon, IngramSpark, and Barnes & Noble. In addition, we offer basic marketing support, author branding, and guidance throughout the entire publishing process.

Our clients include first-time authors, self-published writers, and individuals with powerful personal stories, journals, children’s books, and faith-based or healing-centered works. We pride ourselves on not just delivering a finished book, but creating a supportive experience that educates and empowers authors every step of the way.

As a small, family-run business, we combine industry-standard production quality with a personalized, hands-on approach. Our mission is to remove barriers in publishing and create opportunities for diverse voices to be seen, heard, and respected in the literary space.
